From around the net re: on-demand

Apple finally announced the release of its long anticipated iPhone. Not much in the way of details, but here’s an article regarding that announcement. One interesting thing to note is that they also announced the release of a product called AppleTV, similar in concept to Microsoft’s Xbox (see our writeup here) as your entertainment center where movies, music, etc. will flow through. The device will sport 40GB of storage and will come in at around $299. It’ll be interesting who comes out ahead in this market – as it’s going to be a BIG market.

Here’s a Slashdot entry linking to a review of Windows Home Server. Worth a look anyhow.
